El próximo 4 de Marzo del presente año, tenemos una cita con la ceremonia de premiación más importante para la industria cinematográfica. La nonagésima edición de la entrega de los Oscar dio a conocer el día de hoy su lista completa de candidatos a llevarse una estatuilla dorada.
Como era de esperarse, hubo sorpresas y ausencias. Entre lo más destacado del evento, fueron las 13 nominaciones que obtuvo La Forma del Agua de Guillermo del Toro, además Greta Gerwig (directora de Lady Bird) en 90 años, es la quinta directora en ser nominada en la categoría Mejor Director. Del otro lado de la moneda, las ausencias que más impactaron fue que Wonder Woman no obtuvo ninguna nominación y la omisión de Denis Villeneuve para Mejor Director.
